Space to Roam

Space to Roam is a visual concept that focuses on the ‘otherworldly’ landscapes of the world in hopes of furthering its viewers’ appreciation of earth and the unique places that make it so special.

A Short Film

Space to Roam began in 2019 as a short film. The film went on to be nominated by Vimeo Staff in it's genre for a a Best of the Year award amongst six other films.

A Book in the Making

With expected release in 2023, Andrew Studer is currently undergoing production on Space to Roam the book which focuses on the otherworldly landscapes on earth.

The following is an updated glance at the images that make up the Space to Roam Collection in 2021. It contains photography of the astronaut suit shot in a variety of new locations including slot canyons in both Utah and Arizona.

My intention with this project was not to necessarily focus on the astronaut, but rather to showcase the otherworldly scenery found in Southwestern America’s public lands in hopes of protecting them.
